I’m Aubrey, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer and owner here at A Helping of Health! I have my sights set on living a healthy, holistic lifestyle that is both enjoyable and maintainable. I am committed to providing my body with the most nutrient-dense and sustainable food possible through urban homesteading and mindful eating practices and I can’t wait to share my triumphs, failures, and everything in between with you! I believe that going back to the basics of working with our hands, listening to our bodies’ signals, nourishing our minds and bodies with whole, home-grown ingredients, and doing our part to take care of the earth is the key to living a happy and healthy life.
My main goal is to connect nutrition and overall well-being with sustainable living. I specialize in mindful eating and am passionate about helping others break away from toxic diet culture. You will be sure to find plenty of nutritious and delicious recipes, wellness tips and tricks, and research-based nutrition information from me here on A Helping of Health. I also offer specialized nutrition coaching services as well as online nutrition courses to those looking to improve their relationship with food, create healthy habits, and improve the health of their families.
